Bowling WM in Abu Dhabi - der erste Tag. Nach 18 Stunden Anreise traf die oesterreichische Delegation in Abu Dhabi ein. Die ersten beiden Tage waren dem Training und der Umstellung auf die sommerlichen Temperaturen gewidmet, schliesslich hat es hier in der Nacht 23 bis 25 Grad, untertags bis zu 35 Grad! Am Donnerstag, dem 18. November, ging es mit dem ersten Bewerb, dem Einzel, los. Die offizielle Eroeffnung war fuer Samstag, den 20. November, geplant.
The first day of the world championships in Abu Dhabi was dedicated to an 18 hours travel from Vienna to Abu Dhabi. In the first two days there were practice sessions, the championships started on Thursday, 18th November, with the singles competition and was formally opened on Saturday, 20th November.
